These Indonesian water pots, were originally used by rural villages to collect rain water outside their houses, to use for washing and cooking.
The underlying pot is terracotta and this beautiful and unique patina was created by the households, adding layers of clay to strengthen the pots over the years.
As these pots have been created and used in milder climates, we would recommend using them in the home.
