Large Spanish "Tinaja" Wine Jar

This beautiful 18th century “tinaja”, is from Aragon in Spain and would have been used to store wine. 

A tinaja was traditionally handmade with a narrow mouth and foot, a wide belly to host the wine and a tap at the bottom. 

It’s beautiful rustic etchings make it a work of art for the home or a wine cellar.
