Large Confit Pot

We love the history of these pots, used in the South of France in the late 1800’s, to preserve food.  They were partially buried in the cold ground and glazed midway to protect the terracotta.

Today, they make a lovely decorative feature in a garden or kitchen.

French, 1800’s

Material: Hand-Crafted Earthenware, Glazed

Dimensions: H: 33cm / W: 35cm (incl handles) / D: 28cm
