A wonderful collection of 12 French garden cloches. Reclaimed from an old chateau and dating back to around 1870, they would have been originally used to grow melon or lettuce.
As with all antique cloches of this era, the knob was sliced off, to prevent magnification and ensure an even distribution of light.
All 12 cloches are in great condition with a lovely patina and all around the same size.
